Readers who sign up through your link stay credited to you. When they support a publication, you earn at least 20% of what they pay, for as long as they keep supporting.
What that looks like
A reader supports a publication for $5 a month: you earn at least $1 every month they stay. A $50 yearly supporter earns you at least $10 a year.
The details
- Commission is at least 20% of the support collected, excluding tax and refunds. Each publication can choose a higher rate, and each supporter keeps the rate in place when they started.
- Credit goes to the first link a reader used when they verified their account. It doesn’t change later, and it doesn’t expire.
- Payments go out monthly, starting on the 15th, for earnings of at least $25 from payments collected at least 30 days earlier. You’ll verify your identity and bank details with Stripe. Pressfolk reviews each payment before sending it.
- Refunded or disputed support reverses the matching commission. Signing yourself up or sharing your own publication doesn’t earn a separate commission.
- Accounts and earnings are for adults 18 and over. Visits and signups alone don’t earn anything; only paid support does.
